Known locally as the Ora, The Komodo Dragon is universally considered the world’s largest lizard. This endangered species can be found only in Indonesia’s picturesque islands of Komodo, Rinca, Flores< Gili Motang and Gili Dasami in the Komodo National Park. The Komodos are fokloric creatures, and thus well-protected by Indonesia’s government. This species can grow to a full three meters in length, feeding on animals as big as goats and buffaloes. Indeed, young Komodo dragons are known to dwell in trees to avoid voracious adults.

Adele announces first pregnancy

This is one baby who'll get to hear some fantastic lullabies.
Powerhouse vocalist Adele has announced that she's expecting her first child with her boyfriend Simon Konecki, with a short and simple post on her blog.

"I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together," she wrote, adding, "I wanted you to hear the news direct from me."
The couple is "over the moon" and "very excited," she said, but they do ask that people "please respect our privacy at this time."
Adele, who sung her heart out on the chart-topping and Grammy-winning "21" about past heartbreak, is rumored to have met Konecki last summer, and she blogged about their relationship in January of this year, clearing up misconceptions about his marital status. (He's divorced, she clarified, and has been for four years.)
“He’s wonderful,” she told Vogue of Konecki earlier this year. “And he’s proud of me, but he don’t care about what I do or what other people think. He looks after me. I don’t think I would have gotten through the recovery for my surgery if it hadn’t been for him.”
She added that she's in a good place with her beau, ready to "write a happy record, and be in love and be happy."
No doubt those good feelings will continue with baby making three

Katy Perry hopes to take a break after film premiere

Katy Perry hopes to take a break after film premiere

While Katy Perry fans line up to see her new 3-D documentary next week, Perry herself may very well be camped out in a “cave” somewhere.
The pop singer told the Los Angeles Times that she’s so worn out from touring, performing and everything else on her jam-packed schedule that all she can think about is taking a long-deserved break.

"I think I'm gonna go into a cave after this," the 27-year-old admitted in L.A. on Tuesday afternoon, just before doing a show for 5,000 fans on Hollywood Boulevard.
The singer said that having some creative time to herself following her whirlwind year is crucial, and that she’s looking forward to hanging out in "a beautiful, unplugged place where there's not a lot going on, so I can get back and hopefully write some good songs."
Oh, and to "Take these d**n extensions out of my hair and feel my head again, finally,” she added.
Perry’s “Part of Me” will hit theaters July 5.

Justin Bieber's 'Believe' year's biggest debut

Justin Bieber has not only notched his fourth No. 1 album with his June release, "Believe," but he's also earned the title of the year's biggest debut, Billboard reports.
Selling 374,000 copies in its first week, Bieber's album surpassed Madonna's first week sales of "MDNA," which tallied 359,000.

(The best sales week overall goes to Adele, who sold 730,000 copies of "21" in the week after her big performance at the Grammys.)
Those who purchased "Believe" will get to hear a song called "Maria," which Bieber's admitted addresses that paternity saga he was embroiled in months ago.
"Maria" takes aim at 20-year-old Mariah Yeater, who brought a paternity case against the singer back in November. The suit has since been dropped.
Bieber explained that he just wanted to do something "a little shcoking" during an appearance on Bethenny Frankel's new talk show, "Bethenny."
“It was something that I’d been feeling and wanted to tell people," the 18-year-old singer said. "Because at the end of the day, you know things happen and I don’t get to really talk about it. People twist my words.”
And his words are quite clear: on "Maria," he sings, “That ain’t my baby, that ain’t my girl,” followed by, “Why are you trying to lie girl when I ain’t never met you at all.”
“I’m really able to explain my side of the story,” he added.

Beyonce Writes Letter to Michael Jackson

Singer paid tribute to superstar on third anniversary of his death

 beyonce

In a short letter on her official website posted yesterday, Beyoncé paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Michael Jackson on the third anniversary of his death.
"When I was just starting out, my first producer used to make me listen to Michael Jackson's live performance of 'Who's Loving You,'" begins the note. Beyoncé describes how she would listen to the then-young singer's track repeatedly for inspiration, saying, "For whatever reason he could evoke more emotion than an adult. It was so raw and so pure . . . It's something that's God given.
"Michael taught me that sometimes you have to forget technique, forget what you have on," she continues. "If you feel silly, you have to go from the gut, just let it go.
"Michael Jackson changed me, and helped me to become the artist I am," she concludes. "Thank you, Michael." Beyoncé was recently tapped to star alongside Pitbull and Steven Tyler in an upcoming animated movie, and is also set for film projects with Clint Eastwood and Ryan Murphy.

The pair "have amicably separated," a rep for 49-year-old Depp tells CNN in a statement. "Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children.”
Reports that their 14-year relationship was on the rocks began circulating earlier this year, but Paradis, 39, reportedly brushed off the gossip as false.
The pair have two children together, Lily, 13, and Jack, 9.

Review: Justin Bieber's 'Believe' works surprisingly well

Justin Bieber premieres new album,
-- As a star birthed by YouTube and raised by Twitter, Justin Bieber has never had the luxury of growing up outside the public eye.
In the two years between his breakout 2010 LP, "My World 2.0," and "Believe," his second proper full-length, Bieber has had to go through cultural puberty and actual puberty — a tough gauntlet by any measure.
Luckily, his instincts (or at least the instincts of the small republic of people employed to steer the USS Bieber) are strong, and Believe works surprisingly well as a reinvention and a reintroduction. It's the rare album that tries to be everything to everyone and largely succeeds.
Like his mentor Usher, Bieber fully embraces both Ibiza beats (see dubsteppy bangers ''All Around the World'' and ''Take You'') and urban swagger (Drake and Nicki Minaj each drop by). Believe also updates his signature sounds. ''Catching Feelings'' would have been a smooth spoonful of radio sugar on his debut, but the new Bieber turns it into a soulful R&B campfire jam.
Justin Bieber knocks himself out
Biology has robbed him of some of his range, but he makes up for it in confidence: First-gen Bieber couldn't have handled the goosebumpy swoop of ''Fall,'' but this JB turns it into the album's profound emotional climax.
It's a prime showcase for his new voice and burgeoning mettle, proving that Bieber isn't just maturing, he's evolving. B+

Lindsay Lohan's exhaustion triggers union inquiry

Producers called paramedics to Lindsay Lohan's hotel Friday morning because she was unresponsive to knocks on her door.

-- Lindsay Lohan's complaint that working long hours caused her to collapse from exhaustion triggered union investigations of the "Liz & Dick" production, two unions said.
Producers called paramedics to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey, California, after Lohan was unresponsive to knocks on her door Friday morning.
Lohan, 25, was simply sleeping after working "a grueling schedule the past few days," publicist Steve Honig said Friday. She is in the middle of filming the Lifetime movie in which she portrays legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor.
Lohan later posted a Twitter message that led to the union set visits:
Lindsay Lohan's nap scares producers
Lindsay Lohan crash aftermath
"Note to self.. After working 85 hours in 4 days, and being up all night shooting, be very aware that you might pass out from exhaustion & 7 paramedics MIGHT show up @ your door.... Hopefully theyre cute. Otherwise it would be a real let down."
Union contract rules limit the number of hours actors and crew members can work on a movie or television production.
Both SAG-AFTRA, which represents actors, and IATSE, the stage workers union, confirmed they visited the set of the Lifetime Network movie
"We have thoroughly investigated this matter and our business representatives have visited, and will continue to visit, the set of Liz & Dick," SAG-AFTRA said in a statement late Wednesday. "We have spoken with representatives from the company and they are fully aware of their contractual obligations. We will ensure that all applicable penalties will be paid."
Reports that two hairstylists became ill from exhaustion last week led to the stage workers union to investigate.
"The IATSE is on top of the situation on the set of Lifetime's 'Liz and Dick,' " IATSE Director Mike Miller said. "We have had union representatives on the set since last Friday and will continue to monitor the hours and working conditions there."
The movie's producers did not immediately respond to requests for comment Thursday.
Production was delayed when Lohan was involved in a car crash on the way to the set two weeks ago.

Foul-mouthed Bieber-hating mother takes over @Sweden

Not even Justin Bieber was safe from Swedish mother Sonja Abrahamsson's Twitter rants.

Sweden's tourist board decided to try to drum up interest in the country recently by handing control of the national Twitter account to a different Swedish citizen every week.
They got what they wanted.
In fact, this week, they may have gotten more than they wanted.
The current curator of @Sweden is a foul-mouthed mother of two who has tweeted photos of herself breastfeeding and of a dish she called strawberries with milk and urine. She's also made a joke about Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury having AIDS, the disease that led to his death.
Some followers of the account found her musing about why some people hate Jews particularly shocking.
Sonja Abrahamsson's series of tweets on the subject Tuesday began: "Whats the fuzz with jews. You can't even see if a person is a jew, unless you see their penises, and even if you do, you can't be sure!?"
She went on to point out that the Nazis made Jews wear stars so they could tell who was a Jew, mentioned that she grew up in a place with no Jews and concluded: "Im sorry if some of you find the question offensive. Thats was not my purpose. I just don't get why some people hates jews so much.
Justin Bieber knocks himself out
"I thought it was a good idea to ask the question when so many well educated people all over the world can answer. But no. Bad idea."
Abrahamsson also ruminates in extremely crude terms about what would result from crossing the movie "Snow White" with the thriller "Seven."
And she expresses a certain open-mindedness about fans of teen idol Justin Bieber: "If someone likes Justin Bieber in Sweden, we dont care. We let them. We dont call him 'gay' if we mean 'he sucks'. We say 'he sucks.' "
Her tweets have prompted dozens of questions and some criticism.
"we've been to Sweden. And your behaviour is extremely unbecoming. They should take your passport away," one person tweeted at her.
"why not, i have never used it anyway," Abrahamsson responded.
The self-described "Holy mother of two" took over the Twitter account Sunday and gets it for a week.
"This is exciting," her Twitter bio says.
Her personal biography on the @Sweden website says she's "a single and low educated mother, but at least I don't do drugs and prostitution."
She comes from "a little itsy bitsy village called Latikberg" where all the people "are relatives and they all own tractors," it says.
@Sweden is a joint project of Visit Sweden and the Swedish Institute, which describes itself as "a public agency that promotes interest and confidence in Sweden around the world."
They knew what they were getting into when they handed over the keys to the account, Visit Sweden marketing director Marie Ziv said.
"She is a controversial and provocative person for sure," said Ziv, who said Abrahamsson tweets and blogs in Swedish in a similar vein.
"We haven't called her or told her to stop or back down. We want her to continue being herself," she said. "It's our choice not to censor anyone because we want to keep it real."
"We want to show the diverse and multifaceted country that we are," Ziv said.
@Sweden aims to "create interest and arouse curiosity for Sweden and the wide range the country has to offer," the project says online. It started on December 10 and has had 24 curators so far, Ziv said.
The account had about 44,000 followers as of Wednesday afternoon and was adding about 1,000 new followers an hour.
Abrahamsson did not immediately respond to a tweet from CNN.

Source: Rihanna argument did not spur Chris Brown fight

Chris Brown posted a photo of his injury, which appeared to be a half-inch gash on the left corner of his chin, on Instagram.

While New York police sort out the brawl that left Chris Brown with a nasty cut on his chin early Thursday, the media is left with conflicting details that are mostly be attributed to unnamed sources.
It was a "brutal attack" that injured Brown, his model girlfriend Karrueche Tran and his bodyguard, Brown rep Jeff Raymond said. "Chris and his party are cooperating with New York authorities who are pursuing this incident further."
Brown and others in his group have been interviewed by New York police, Brown's spokesman said. A New York Police spokesman confirmed the department was investigating the incident.
Brown was partying with friends in the VIP section of the South Village club W.i.P., while the rapper Drake and his friends were nearby, according to statements reps for both artists.

Some online reports said the incident began when Drake and Brown argued over Brown's ex-girlfriend Rihanna, whom Brown was convicted of assaulting three years ago.
But the confrontation was not about Rihanna, a source close to Brown told CNN. The same source would not confirm if Drake, who has dated Rihanna, was involved.
While Drake's rep confirmed the rapper was there, he said "Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P."
"He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began," Drake's rep told CNN. "He did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property."
The source close to Brown described Brown and his party as victims who were enjoying themselves until they were confronted by "the other party."
They wanted no part of the confrontation and were trying to leave when they were brutally attacked, the source said.
Brown's spokesman disputed one online report that someone in Brown's group escalated the confrontation by taunting Drake. "No one in Chris' camp was inciting the other party," he said.
Brown posted a photo of his injury -- which appeared to be a half-inch gash on the left corner of his chin -- on his Instagram account.

Kelly Clarkson - stronger (what doesn't kill you) lyric

you know the bed feels warmer
sleeping here alone
you know i dream in color
and do the things i want

you think you got the best of me
think you've had the last laugh
bet you think that everything good is gone
think you left me broken down
think that i'd come running back
baby, you don't know me, 'cause you're dead wrong

[chorus]
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger
stand a little taller
doesn't mean i'm lonely when i'm alone
what doesn't kill you makes a fighter
footsteps even lighter
doesn't mean i'm over 'cause you're gone

[bridge]
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, stronger
just me, myself, and i
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger
stand a little taller
doesn't mean i'm lonely when i'm alone

you heard that i was starting over with someone new
they told you i was moving on, over you
you didn't think that i'd come back
i'd come back swinging
you tried to break me, but you see

[repeat chorus]

[repeat bridge]

thanks to you i got a new thing started
thanks to you i'm not the broken-hearted
thanks to you i'm finally thinking 'bout me
you know in the end the day you left is just my beginning
in the end

[repeat chorus]

[repeat bridge x2]

i'm not alone

Review: Tom Cruise owns 'Rock of Ages'

Tom Cruise stars as Stacee Jaxx in '

-- Tom Cruise should have been a rock star.
Remember him pounding his air guitar in not much more than a shirt and shades in "Risky Business"? He turned a pool hall into a concert stage, strutting his stuff in "The Color of Money," shook his moneymaker under layers of latex at the end of "Tropic Thunder" and took a chance, singing in his own voice in "Top Gun" and "Magnolia." He always had the moves, and more important, he had the self-belief. He turns himself on.
Still, the challenge of a full-blown musical has apparently not been something he's been in a hurry to tackle, perhaps wary of undercutting his action-man credentials. Turns out, some things are worth waiting for.
I don't know how much they may have finessed his vocal tracks, and it doesn't matter. He owns "Rock of Ages," an addled tribute to '80s hair metal, from the very minute he appears. He emerges hazily from underneath layers of discarded groupies in a palatial hotel suite, sporting gunslinger body art and outrageous crotch jewelry, dispensing intensely eccentric, deeply fried philosophical nuggets before stumbling into the indoor Jacuzzi. Ladies and gents, meet Stacee Jaxx, God of Rock.
Mary J. Blige: Queen of 'Rock'?
Brand: Baldwin kiss 'titillating'
Lauer on infamous interview with Cruise
A caricature of already larger-than-life personalities Axl Rose and Steven Tyler, Stacee is very much a supporting character in Chris D'Arienzo's Tony-award-winning 2009 musical. But he's also the star of the show, the one everybody else is dying to see, to make or to emulate. Cruise has the charisma to sell all that even as he shows us a boozed-up captive to celebrity, sex and ego. When he does perform, he's electric. However, Cruise is just as good in the dialogue scenes, whether it's messing with club owner Alec Baldwin's vulnerable brain or fending off an increasingly hot-under-the-collar "Rolling Stone" features writer (Malin Akerman).
A karaoke musical in which almost everybody bursts into FM anthems at the drop of a hat (yes, even Baldwin, who duets with Russell Brand on a camp rendition of REO Speedwagon's "Can't Fight This Feeling"), by rights "Rock of Ages" shouldn't come off as a one-man show. But it's an uneven fight, and you might find yourself itching for the fast-forward button whenever Cruise is off-screen.
Julianne Hough, who portrayed Ariel in "Footloose" and who appeared in the strikingly similar "Burlesque," plays the movie's ostensible heroine, Sherrie Christian, a small-town girl from Oklahoma who gets off the bus in Hollywood ready to pursue her dream of being a singer.
Instead, she finds herself playing out a PG-13 version of "Showgirls," waiting tables at the legendary rock club the Bourbon Room and falling in love with a co-worker, Drew (Diego Boneta). Drew's own singing aspirations get considerably more screen time than Sherrie's, but he still fails to make much impact. Hilariously, within hours of meeting her, he claims to have been inspired to write "Don't Stop Believin." "It goes on and on," he explains modestly after giving her a taste of the first verse.
You couldn't accuse the filmmakers of taking themselves -- or anything else -- too seriously. Director Adam Shankman, the veteran choreographer who also directed "Hairspray" (and a couple of episodes of "Glee"), encourages the cast to amp everything up to 11, or in the case of Catherine Zeta-Jones, 111. She plays the mayor's wife, Patricia Whitmore, crusading to clean up the Strip and shut down the Bourbon Room for reasons more personal than political.
All this sound and fury signifies next to nothing, and music fans may feel it's a funny sort of tribute that mocks as much as it rocks. Even so, it's good to see Tom Cruise letting his hair down. It's a fun show if you roll with it.

Kardashians still being asked why they're famous, this time by Oprah

Kardashians still being asked why they're famous, this time by Oprah

We just might be in for some verbal fireworks between Oprah Winfrey and members of the Kardashian family this Sunday.
The famed talk show host indicated on Facebook that she dug deep with Kim Kardashian about her two-second 72-day marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries.

"This interview I'd say was another level of forthrightness and honesty," she wrote. "Why did she leave after 72 days? Her answer leveled me.”
To prepare for their talk, which will air on OWN Sunday, Winfrey said she "did a full-on Kardashian Kram."
"I had never met them, nor seen the show," she admitted of one of TV’s most famous reality show families.
Well, it's a good thing she did her homework because Winfrey said she spent a *lot* of time on set with Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and the rest of the krew.
It was the "longest interviewing session I can ever recall, talking to ALLLLLLLL the Kardashians,” quipped Winfrey. Still, she implied, it was worth it.
"I genuinely wanted to know why they have become a cultural phenomenon,” she added. “Why do so many people love to watch their every move and why do so many others love to hate them. Are they completely ego centered? Are they really 'famous for being famous' or is there something more?"
“Oprah's Next Chapter” featuring the Kardashians airs this Sunday at 8 p.m. on OWN.

Lindsay Lohan's nap scares producers

A rep for Lindsay Lohan says the actress was just sleeping and not ill.

Paramedics were called to Lindsay Lohan's Los Angeles hotel room when she did not wake up from a nap Friday morning, but the actress "is fine," her publicist said.
Lohan, 25, was simply sleeping after working "a grueling schedule the past few days," Steve Honig said.
She is in the middle of filming the Lifetime movie "Liz & Dick" in which she portrays legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor.
"She was on set last night at 7 p.m. and worked through the night until 8 a.m. this morning," Honig said. "She took a nap before shooting her final scene. Producers were concerned when she did not come out of her room and called paramedics as a precaution."

Paramedics determined Lohan "is fine, but did suffer some exhaustion and dehydration."
Contrary to some media reports, she was not taken to a hospital, he said.
"She is resting now and is hoping to be back on set later this afternoon," he said.
The scare came a week after Lohan was involved in a car crash that sent her to a hospital emergency room.
Lohan has spent several stints in substance abuse rehab, jail and home confinement in the past five years. Her professional life has gotten back on track in recent months and her supervised probation, stemming from two drunken driving convictions, has been lifted.

Britney Spears is refuting reports that suggest she walked off "The X Factor" set after a contestant performed a pitchy version of her hit "Hold It Against Me."
"#Britneywalksoff??? LOL was just taking a little break people. I am having the BEST time!!!" the singer tweeted on Thursday.
Prior to her clarification, Spears wrote, "Texas has a lot of talent – seriously! Loving @TheXFactorUSA auditions so far..."
A source close to the show told People Magazine: "[Spears] was not upset. She just took a short break, which is not uncommon for judges to do in these taped shows."
It seems Spears' fellow new judge Demi Lovato also appeared to have a good time at the Texas auditions.
The actress poked fun at Simon Cowell, calling him “grandpa” at one point, according to E!
Even fellow judge L.A. Reid wasn’t safe. He tweeted: "Day 1 @TheXFactorUSA and I have already been cut to shreds by @ddlovato. Let the games begin!"

Security concerns prompt Lady Gaga to cancel Indonesia concert

-- Lady Gaga canceled her concert in Indonesia, her management said Sunday, citing security concerns after Islamic hardliners denounced her costumes and dance moves as too risqué.
If the concert is held, there are concerns the singer, her crew and attendees may be in harm's way, said Minola Sebayang, the lawyer for the promoters.
"This is an advice from her security team. So the cancellation is purely based on the decision made by her management," Sebayang said.
Earlier this month, Jakarta police recommended that Lady Gaga's sold-out June 3 show not be issued a permit because of security concerns.
The pop diva appeared to acknowledge the incident in a post on Twitter on Saturday: "There is nothing Holy about hatred."
Islamists and conservative Muslims have decried Lady Gaga's upcoming concert, saying her revealing costumes and sensual dance moves are forbidden by Islamic law.
The chairman of the Islamic Defenders Front, Habib Rizieq, said his group could not guarantee security if the concert were held.
Lady Gaga versus Indonesia
Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world.

In March, the pop star got a thumbs-down by the country's highest Islamic authority, according to The Jakarta Globe.

Indonesian Council of Ulema chairman Cholil Ridwan was urging Muslims not to attend the controversial singer's upcoming concert in Jakarta, the newspaper reported.

"(The concert is) intended to destroy the nation's morality," Ridwan told the Globe.
Ridwan is concerned that the singer's revealing outfits and sexy dance moves will set a bad example for Muslim youths.
Newspaper reports said more than 25,000 tickets were sold in the first two hours after the concert went on sale in March. Police said the promoter should not have started selling tickets before getting a permit.
This is not the first controversy surrounding the singer's "Born This Way" tour. Gaga also ran afoul of Christian groups in South Korea, prompting the government to ban kids under the age of 18 from attending her show.
Last week, Christian groups in the Philippines protested Lady Gaga's performances there Monday and Tuesday.

What's the verdict: Lindsay Lohan on 'Glee'http://marquee.blogs.cnn.com/2012/05/16/whats-the-verdict-lindsay-lohan-on-glee/

What's the verdict: Lindsay Lohan on 'Glee'

For the next stop on her "I'm making a comeback" tour, Lindsay Lohan made a guest appearance on "Glee's" two-hour episode on Tuesday ... as herself.
Accompanied by fellow guest stars Perez Hilton and "Entourage's" Rex Lee to portray the judges panel at Nationals, Lohan explained to Hilton that she was there "because I care about young artists chasing their impossible dreams. I know them. I feel them. I was them. So I'm here to support them, unconditionally."
That, and "is there anything better than someone making a comeback?" she inquired. (Don't answer that.)

And in case you haven't noticed, she pointed out once again on the Fox show, "I'm in full image re-branding mode here people."
So did it work? Time wasn't that impressed, calling her cameo "not disastrous" but "sort of depressing," and unlikely to "help her on her road back to 'Mean Girls'-era respectability."
The Washington Post found it "disappointing to only have her included for such a short period of time," although her lines were "semi-amusing." She wasn't as great as "Gwyneth Paltrow or Kristin Chenoweth, but not nearly as annoying as Perez Hilton."
But both E! Online and Entertainment Weekly cut LiLo some slack, calling her role "silly in a good way" with lines that were "pretty funny, if not a bit sad."
So what did you think of Lindsay's big guest appearance?

Jennifer Lopez No. 1 on Forbes' Celebrity 100 list

In a ranking of the 100 stars who've amassed major amounts of both fame and wealth, Jennifer Lopez has landed in the top spot.
Thanks to the $52 million Lopez earned over the past year and her ubiquitous media presence, the now single mom of two is the No. 1 celebrity in Hollywood, according to Forbes.
The "Idol" judge even bested Oprah Winfrey, who came in at No. 2 on the list, and Lady Gaga, who slipped from being No. 1 last year to No. 5 on the 2012 ranking.

And while Forbes notes that Lopez's decision to sign up for "American Idol" contributed nicely to her $52 million in earnings for the year, the singer/actress/reality star isn't sure if she'll return to the reality show that revived her career.
Now that things are moving again at warp speed for J. Lo - her upcoming world tour, movie career (her latest,“What to Expect When You're Expecting,” arrives Friday), and even her alleged romance with choreographer Casper Smart - she just might be too busy.
"I don't know," the 42-year-old singer said Tuesday on “Ellen” about her future on the singing competition.
"I enjoy it. I really do enjoy it," Lopez said. Still, "I miss doing other things,” she explained. “It really does lock you down."
Then there’s the issue of her two young children with soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony, whom Lopez said need her now more than ever.
"They're getting more mobile,” she said of her 4-year-old twins Max and Emme. “They're about to go to school. I just don't know. I don't know."
If her indecision feels remarkably familiar, it's because she had the same hesitation about signing on for another season of "Idol" last year.

Britney, Demi Lovato join 'X Factor' as Fox shuffles schedule

Fox is adding three new shows and two familiar faces to its schedule this fall. As expected, Demi Lovato and Britney Spears will join "X Factor's" judges' table, taking the spots left vacant by season 1 judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.
Both pop stars said in a statement that they're "excited" and "thrilled" with their new gigs, as is Simon Cowell. (We, on the other hand, are "thrilled" the endless speculation about who would judge can now be put to rest.)
“I'm absolutely delighted Britney and Demi are joining us,” he said in a statement. “Britney remains one of the biggest stars in the world, she's talented, fascinating – and I believe she knows exactly how to spot 'The X Factor.'"
And as for Lovato, "Demi's had an amazing career in music, TV and film for someone her age," Cowell said of the 19-year-old star. "She's young, confident, and enthusiastic. I think it’s really important that she speaks to our younger audience. The new panel will be dynamic and will work really well with the changes we are making to the show.”
The "X Factor" will air Wednesdays and Thursdays starting at 8 p.m. ET this fall, with "American Idol" taking over the timeslot in the midseason.
Gleeks will also have to switch up their DVR schedule to catch the McKinley High crew on Thursdays instead of Tuesdays in the fall, and they can expect Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson to make guest appearances next season.
For the midseason, Fox is planning to roll out a thriller from Kevin Williamson called "The Following," which centers on a former FBI agent (played by Kevin Bacon) who's called back to the job to track down a serial killer on the loose.
There'll also be a comedy called "The Goodwin Games" starring Scott Foley ("Grey's Anatomy, "Felicity") as the oldest of three adult siblings who return home ready to inherit their father's fortune after his passing - which they'll only receive if they follow his specific challenges.
Check out Fox's fall 2012 schedule below, with all times being eastern and new shows in bold:

Burton, Depp redo gothic-lite in 'Dark Shadows'

Johnny Depp stars as Barnabas Collins in Tim Burton's
"Balls. That's how a family shows its power," declares Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins in "Dark Shadows" to the bemused descendants gathered around the dinner table.
In his day -- the 1700s -- throwing a party was a political act. But 200 years later -- in 1972, to be exact -- balls are out of style. Women's lib is in the air, and his movie is loaded with powerful, independent women. The hippies are dropping out. And vampires are an anachronism.
I better admit from the start I never saw Dan Curtis' spooky "Dark Shadows" soap opera, a curio that ran from 1966 to 1971. The belated blockbuster edition arrives courtesy of director Tim Burton, star Depp and "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" scribe Seth Grahame-Smith, a mash-up monster squad possibly more inclined to camp than Curtis was, and certainly more tickled by the nostalgic "modernity" of the Nixon era.
The fruit of their labors is mostly weirdly amusing -- when it's not just plain bemusing -- but hardly the wacky parody the trailers suggest. And it falls well short of satire. The gags are there alright, but so is the soap in roughly equal measure. Always stronger on gothic atmosphere than story, Burton dedicates unwarranted screentime to the Collins' dull fortunes in the fish canning business (I'm not kidding).
More promisingly, he dishes up tortured romance more or less straight -- or as straight as a romantic triangle between an angry witch, a lovelorn vampire and a corpse is ever likely to be -- and smuggles at least a smidgeon of heartfelt emotional baggage into the spectacularly dysfunctional dynamics of the Collins clan.
As we know by now, in Burton's films being a misfit is a mark of distinction. And if Depp's Barnabas is by his own admission an accursed monster with buckets of blood on his hands, he's more or less absolved of moral guilt, redeemed by his loyalty, integrity and commitment to the family.
On top of which, Depp is fun.
He's a vision in monochrome with his pasty complexion, black cape and hair. His elongated fingers weave mesmerizing dainty webs in thin air, and he pounces on each and every syllable of ripe 18th century rhetoric for maximum pomp. But scratch the surface and this turns out to be another arch, hollow turn from an actor who seems to treat his roles like extended party pieces, sniffing out any excuse for vaudeville and hang the consequences.
His Barnabas is the life of the party but impossible to take seriously as a tormented soul. Despite his protestations, there is precious little heat between him and his beloved, Victoria (an intriguingly wan Bella Heathcote).
If you can't join him, beat him: that seems to be Eva Green's game, effectively out-vamping Depp as Barnabas' spurned lover and nemesis, brittle, randy sorceress Angelique. Also preening for attention but given rather less to play is Michelle Pfeiffer -- who must have thought she was back in Eastwick -- as Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, the de facto head of the family, Helena Bonham Carter Burton as dypso head-doctor Julia Hoffman and Chloe Grace Moretz as Elizabeth's very adolescent daughter Caroline. Then there is Alice Cooper as plain old Alice Cooper.
They're all troupers, but step back a moment, you might feel a bit queasy about a picture that shrugs off multiple murders and vilifies an abused housemaid who rebels against the old European social hierarchies.
Unfortunately, Burton and Depp's ironic, detached treatment invites just that kind of idle reflection. The architecture looks grand, but the foundations are shaky.
